Job Description

This part-time, non-tenure track position will teach courses in Music Education.

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and conducting the University choir .
  • Prepare students for upcoming performances, assist music education students with requirements for teaching certification and student teaching.
  • Teaching and conducting the PV Singers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Education & Experience:
  • Masters in Education or Music education.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years teaching experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years choral conducting on a high school or collegiate level.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of teaching certification requirements for those students seeking a degree in music education and requirements for student teaching.


Other Requirements:
  • Some travel may be required.
